Carolina Grove Rehearsal Dinner

Are you ready for all of the modern and neutrals?! When Melissa from Carolina Grove reached out to me about designing paper and signage for a styled shoot and rehearsal dinner combination in May I could not resist when I saw the inspiration board. And the best part is that the actual design itself was even better!

We had a wonderful vendor team that pulled together a stunning design. I wanted to do something a little different with the seating chart since we were doing a tonal palette, so I created three signs of varying heights that were then displayed at varying heights and layered on top of one another. The floral backdrop from Bea Morad was exactly what was needed to bring this display to life and it was better than I could have imagined.

For the invitation suite I showcased one of my semi-custom invitations, The Rosemary. It features a wax seal on the main invitation card which is one of my favorite details. I incorporated creams and neutrals to carry out the tonal look.

For the menu cards I did a double arched long menu with a “bride” and “groom” tag wrapped in twine and a tassel. Tassels are the best! Such a fun way to incorporate texture. I included more tassels on the cutest little “sip” tags for the champagne glasses. For the bar menu, I did a fabric sign suspended above the bar from the ceiling with dowels securing the top and bottom. It had gold ink and a floral illustration coming up from the bottom - one of my favorite bar signs I’ve ever created!

Fabiana Skubic outdid herself with the incredible photos, as did the rest of the vendor team. Enjoy!
