Nursery Reveal and Welcoming Finley

Our little boy, Finley Breck, was born on August 26, 2020 and has been such a joy! I had so much fun designing his nursery leading up to his birth and imagining him occupying it one day. I put a lot of thought into every detail and did a ton of research to make sure it was just perfect for him.

My inspiration for his nursery was more a feeling than a look - I knew I wanted something that felt like a retreat, as we would likely be spending a lot of time in there. So I began to think of what “retreat” meant to me - calming, serene, natural. Because of this I used light, natural wood tones along with grays and deep blues and greens to accent!

When we did our newborn session with the incredible Alaina Ronquillo Photography, she took a few photos of our nursery for us so I could give you a nursery tour, and I’ve linked all of the items so you know exactly where they came from.
