Hope Taylor Workshop Styled Shoot
I had the joy of designing an invitation suite and menus for Hope Taylor's Photography Workshop back in March and I loved how everything turned out! Hope invited several photographers into her home for an entire weekend to teach them all about photography and entrepreneurship. As part of the workshop she worked with Dear Sweetheart Events to coordinate a styled photo shoot for the attendees to get hands on experience and put their learning into practice. I just love the idea behind that and was honored to be a part of it!
The process started with some floral pictures that Kat, from Dear Sweetheart Events, sent me for what they were envisioning for the styled shoot. The theme was secret garden with mauve, yellow, and cream in mind for the colors. I came up with a design and we ended up simplifying it a bit to end up with the final result - and you know I don't mind simplifying! I love blues and greens and design with them a lot, so it was fun trying out a pink color palette that still reflected my style accordingly.
